Hi Folks!
The third day of the CAEP 2023 Conference was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiastic engagement, as attendees continued their quest for knowledge, networking, and collaboration. It was filled with some extremely insightful sessions, including a panel featuring powerful leaders in Medicine hosted by Dr. Kevin Wasko. The panel discussion fostered thought-provoking conversations and highlighted the importance of leadership in shaping the future of medicine in general.
Additionally, in a special feature, we were joined by CanadiEM’s very own Dr. Blair Bigham, who was part of a panel today on the significance of narrative in media interactions. Recognizing the power of storytelling in effectively communicating medical experiences, Dr. Bigham emphasized the need for compelling narratives to engage and educate the public.
While the CAEP 2023 Conference continued beyond the third day, this podcast episode marked the end of our coverage due to scheduling constraints. However, to ensure that you don’t miss out on other noteworthy moments from the conference, our colleagues at Ottawa have compiled a summary of various sessions at the conference, which can be found at the following link: https://emottawablog.com/2023/06/caep-2023-in-review/.
As our part in the conference draws to a close, the CAEP Capsule team would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the listeners for their love and support throughout the series. It has been an honor to provide coverage and insights from this remarkable conference, and the team hopes to have alleviated some of the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) experienced by those who were unable to attend in person. CAEP Capsule team eagerly awaits the opportunity to continue their coverage of future conferences and events, ensuring that knowledge and inspiration are shared far and wide. Until next year, the team bids farewell, knowing that they have played a part in connecting and engaging the emergency medicine community.
Thank you all, and stay tuned for more exciting endeavours from the CanadiEM team!
